Hullo!
[yawn] I was just playin some puter games and stuff!
Yeah - somewhere between the first of the year and June we better have our entmoot plans finalized, but I thik we are OK for the moment to let things hang!

Hey! I'm still around. After I got the little one bathed and in bed, had to do some pool association work then some other stuff. I also took the van to Car Pool today, did some shopping, got a haircut, mowed the yard, put the seats back in place in the van (we took one out to go to the beach) and fed the kids. Not bad considering that was all after we got home from Corin Jrs. football game at 1:00 p.m. And they won 12-6.
But I can't last long. We're driving to North Carolina tomorrow to see my father-in-law. We're taking the boys because you just never know. But apparently today's scare was just another false alarm...we're getting lots of those...
To: ksen
Shouldn't you be in bed? Don't you have church in the morning?
Don't you need to go and repent for that shameless sneak?
I think you do. Yes, I really think you do.
Here. I'll hold your ring while you're gone...
To: Corin Stormhands
Your day is making me tired! ;~D
Tomorrow I will be more productive, maybe. Maybe they will have a phluffy kitty I will have to NOT take home too. I don't have more pet space either... cept for some new phish. And maybe a budgie. No. Too many members of the food chain living in the house.
To: HairOfTheDog
A budgie could be fun. Would drive the cat and the dog crazy though...
I've got a test-pattern on the inside of my eyelids. I'm going to bed. G'nite.
(I may not be around until Monday a.m. Maybe a little late tomorrow nite).
See ya.
To: Corin Stormhands
I had a budgie named Goose. I loved him, but the cat got him.... [tsk!]
My dog is too much of a killer, I am afraid, and it would drive her up the wall. But it was a thought!
To: Corin Stormhands
Good night!
I am ready to go to bed too!
See y'all in the morning!

Here. I'll hold your ring while you're gone...
Did you bring your buddies like you did last time?

Good Morning, everyone!
Corin, I'll wave if I see a dwarf driving around in a van. Watch the weather, we've got Hannah here right now.
To: Overtaxed; All

I happen to be listening to the "Sounds of Sinatra" radio program right now. I wonder if FormerLurker is listening, too....
To: Rocko
You think you have converted him to the Sinatra?
Actually, he just said a very good thing over on one of the aroused Chelsea threads, and gave me an opening to say a good thing on another. There appears to be a flood of Chelsea threads this morning, and perhaps I am not the only one that is embarrased by our behavior where Chelsea is concerned.
To: HairOfTheDog
You think you have converted him to the Sinatra? No.
To: HairOfTheDog
"where Chelsea is concerned."
Or her parents for that matter. Come to think of it...all the Democrats.
Good morning, everyone.

"It should not be that hard to see that we have to stop repelling the people we are trying to attract to our side!"Sure, I agree with you there, attacks can be reserved for folks like Hillary that are obviouly evil, but otherwise, harsh attacks are probably more counterproductive.
As someone who has raised two kids to adulthood, I know well that you are right, harsh words usually produce resentment and make your kids feel like embracing the opposite of what you wish. There is a place for harsh words, but it is usually a last resort, they ought to be used carefully and not very often :-)
