Listen, I think you should really consider getting a Susato Kildare. No kidding, it's a totally different experience than playing on a metal whistle. I find myself choosing which whistle I think would sound better with a particular tune. Swallowtail Jig sounds best on Feadóg, Hector the Hero is hauntingly pretty on the Susato.

Just practice the scales at first, Hair...get those tones coming out clearly, then work into the short tunes.

OK! - But sometimes it makes the same exact sound whether I cover any holes or not!

And sometimes I can't make anything but high screechy noises - even when I try not to blow too hard. [sniff] I am afraid I am not a natural.

At least it amuses the dog. Or frightens her. She comes running anyway.

Hi, guys. I'm having a bad day here, but it's almost over. On the bright side my power cord came so, with luck, I'll have a computer again.... I'll let you know asap, it's time for Bible Study now. Stay safe!

I don't think my cat's amused.

Hello all. Time for my periodic check-in. Had another busy week, with a couple of extra concerts. On 9-11 a large group of area churches had a service outdoors on the downtown plaza. It was estimated that there were 3,000 people there, which is huge for this small town. Here is a picture of yours truly playing:

Unfortunately, I have to work tomorrow, and have another concert in the evening. I'll be back eventually!

I don't have time right now to backtrack through the posts very far. Has there been any more discussion lately of Entmoot plans?

Can't you just blow something into the mic? Or must I play Blarney Pilgrim til you puke? :)

Did you have thoughts about entmoot? - Or were you just making sure we had not made a plan without telling you?

Is this how you sold Hair on the Feadog?

You SOLD Hair? How could you? I mean, she's a part of our family here. How could you be so cruel?

And what is this Feadog anyway? Is it like e-Bay? Is there a return policy? Can you get her back?

What?...Oh....nevermind....
