Was the Minnow lost off Florida? :-) I had supposed it was in the South Pacific somewhere, though I suppose the Bermuda Triangle, off Florida does make some sense.

Yeah, but Jen made the point that she'll have no debt. In fact she said she'll have money in the bank.

Jen, if you want an advanced degree I say go for it now. I'm in the middle of working on a Master's degree. I'm 35 with a good wife and three great kids and a full-time job. I have a hard time making time for everything. If I had had any sense I would have pursued the Master's earlier when I had less outside responsibilities.

I would suggest you pray about it (which I am sure you are doing) and do whatever the Lord leads you to do. ;^)

Hair when you wake up I hope you will note who did NOT partake of this morning's sneak.

Hey Hair,

If you were able to scan Bay into your computer would that make him(her?) an E-Bay?

Good morning, everyone!

Hope everyone had a good evening...I stayed at my Dad's later than I should have. We played a bunch of Irish tunes and then after most people had left got started on old show tunes, with most of us singing along. (However badly!) It was a blast!

Now I need coffee...

I was under the impression that money was there after undergrad work....no telling how much she'll be spending post grad.

Also....employers as a rule don't like hiring Phd's for jobs that require only an Associate or BS.

I think this is one thing people being laid off right now are learning...the dreaded "overqualified" rule.

I'm kinda glad I wasn't around last night...I have some pretty strong feelings on education and degrees and though I think Jen probably has the right reasons, a lot of people waste MUCHO time and money on degrees they don't need and that are NOT a job help.

There are other ways to learn things! And if it isn't going to help you in life, why pay so much for that piece of paper / sheepskin / whatever they make them diplomas out of these days?

Hair when you wake up I hope you will note who did NOT partake of this morning's sneak.

Only because your sneaky backside was still in bed...

You'll notice, on the other hand, that I refrained from a 14 post sneak. Okay, okay, so I had to take the dog to the vet so he could poop in their lobby. (He's having his ears flushed today)

I do NOT want to go to this meeting...
