Some of us got jazzed a while back to get together for the Premier and make a big deal out of that. It does have some appeal for me, and I think 2J... Don't recall who else was particularly into that, but it would be fun to do the midnight show together!....

Hey, did you know that when I first joined C&F, I asked how to play that song? The boys would hear the ice cream truck playing it and go burzurk. So I figured I would learn it, buy some ice cream at Aldis and then serenade them while they ate! I could buy a 12 count box of ice cream at Aldis for a buck less than I could buy 2 ice creams from the ice cream truck!

I have had unending redicule because of that request...but it's ok, because I play into it. Kinda fun.

OK, just thought I'd mention the possibility to stir up trouble! :)

As for Rose and myself, we wouldn't have any trouble travelling at Christmastime. Since neither of has family here in Austin, we've gotten into the habit of just having a small celebration between the two of us. Not a big deal to us where we happen to be at the time....

Well, and it would be a full week before Christmas anyway if they hold true to form! Guessing between the 17-19. I could do my Christmas shopping in tourist trap gift shops! - "Hey, thanks for the Mickey Mouse ears!"

But, does that mean you don't normally do your Christmas shopping until the last minute?

That is exactly what it means. I get sudden inspiration at the last moment! I always shop in the last week! If I am traveling, I might try to be better.

I am gonna go watch Fiddler on the Roof and call it a night. I absolutely love this film... I am listening to the special features now. Commentary with the Director and Topol, the lead... very interesting!

Fiddler is a great show, I had the part of Lazar Wolf in our local civic theatre. That fool girl Teitel running off with that milkman, when there was a doting wealthy butcher available for the asking!
