You didn't see any Men of Gondor out there doing the polka?

...I blame it all on that Leonard Nimoy music video (The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins). Oh man, that video is SO BAD!!! I showed it to our 14 yr old. Tolkien geek daughter and Sir SuziQ the other night. They were traumatized! They wouldn't let me show it again when our younger son asked about it. They couldn't stand to see it again!!

He says something like "this is beyond my powers of healing." BUT, when Eowyn and Merry are injured he calls for kingsfoil (and perhaps uses it for Faramir too?). Is that an "oops" in the movie? Or is there a subtle difference I'm just missing. I just caught that too. Maybe since Frodo was actually STABBED by a morgul blade, it was beyond Aragorn's powers. In RoTK, I think Faramir, Eowyn and Merry were simply 'overcome' by their close proximity to the Witch King, so as the rightful king, his 'power to heal' could be used.

Nope didn't see any Men of Gondor in Perdido Key doing the polka or anything else (Remember, Gondor has no choreographer, Gondor NEEDS no choreographer!). I did see some Gondorian Spearmen and Gondorian Archer figures in a card/comics store yesterday (in MA), though!

We have movies singing and musical instruments? Entmoot is starting to sound fun! RWRF, if you still like us in a year and a half, you can come to Entmoot.
If I had the means I would happily build The Shire and Rivendell on my 34 acres of west Tennesse hills just for the Moot. We already have Mirkwood, Fanghorn and Lothlorien. What a dream and vivid imagination I have. :^)

Wow, those shots are beautiful!
The extended edition preview on the DVD looked so wonderful, I can't wait!!!! Once we get to November, it's going to be fun, fun, fun, with the DVD coming out one month and the movie coming out the next. Yippeee!
