We have movies singing and musical instruments? Entmoot is starting to sound fun! RWRF, if you still like us in a year and a half, you can come to Entmoot.

Nobody likes their day-job... That is why they pay you to be there! But as much as I dislike mine, you'd think they'd pay me more!
Actually, it's not really that bad of a place to work. And it's far to long a story to tell (even here). I'm just not really doing the things I enjoy the most. Circumstances got me where I am. Don't get me wrong. It's a good job with excellent benefits (and for my area, the pay is actually quite good).
There are some things I can work on to make it better. I've just sort of recently decided that my time is better spent doing that than trying to relocate to the "perfect" job, because (for me anyway) that doesn't exist.

But I did notice the typo "condle" (for candle) and did have to wonder if that was something...uh...Freudian...as in candle+fondle=condle...as in Mr. Boromir, that is...Oh you are a BAD boy! No, It wasn't Freudian, just a case of poor proofreading! But now that you mention it.....hmmm?

Entmoot is starting to sound fun! With us, how could it be otherwise!?! ;-)

G'nite all. I'm up way too late.
Corin, Jr. has to be on the football field at 7:30 a.m. See you tomorrow...
To: g'nad
No, I don't have the sound track, but I love Blues, Bluegrass and old gospel musicYou GOTTA get this one, g'nad! It's worth it just for Ralph Stanley's "O, Death", not to mention all the other great songs!
To: ksen
Hey! - Where has ksen been?
To: HairOfTheDog
ksen is in Pensacola this week. I don't think I've heard exactly when he'll be back.
To: Overtaxed; Penny1
Oh - I just looked him up - According to his last post, he should be back tonight! - At least I notice eventually that one of our party is missing!
Now if we could just get Penny back.....
To: HairOfTheDog
Are you sure Penny still likes us?
To: Overtaxed; Penny1
Does make you wonder doesn't it?
To: All
Sleep sounds like a good idea, I think I'll try some.
Good night all!
To: HairOfTheDog
Her last post was Aug. 9. Is she on vacation or something?
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
Good Night!
To: Overtaxed; Penny1
No - She says she can't post from work anymore, which we knew... and that she has been trying to get more
active. she claims to be bike riding and hiking and things!
She and I did kindof a spur of the moment chat-view last week when that old Elijah Wood movie was on... She sent me an email about 5 minutes before it started. and I got caught up with her... she says she still checks in here sometimes, but she can't keep up.
I'll ping her to at least let her know we are talkin' about her! - Wish she was here!
To: HairOfTheDog; Overtaxed; carton253
Are you sure Penny still likes us?How about carton253? Hasn't tried for a sneak for a long time! Still is posting on FR.
To: Lucius Cornelius Sulla
Oh carton just gets tired of us and leaves for awhile! - Perhaps we aren't as charming as we thought!
To: Corin Stormhands
he probably liked is day job...the authors LCS mentioned Well Elliot worked as an insurance executive, Melville worked as a glorified government clerk, then as a corporate executive, Chaucer was either a churchman or a government clerk (in his day you were one of those or a lawyer if you were literate). Elliot and Melville were reportedly not thrilled by their day jobs. Don't know about Chaucer.
To: HairOfTheDog
Well tell her "Fine! Be that way!" :)
To: Lucius Cornelius Sulla; HairOfTheDog
Good night, folkses! This hobbit has stayed up about as late as she can. Talk to ya tomorrow!
