Seeing as how they have picked Totonto as the place to moot, I think the point may be moot. Yeah, really. Who wants to moot in Toronto in December? Just catching up on posts...be with you in a minute.

She may be lost to us.... she has become a wraith like them.
To: Lucius Cornelius Sulla
Has she become a Ringwraith? I'm getting better.....
To: Overtaxed

Evening all...
Looks like HH was a hoppin' place today... lotsa fun reading it!
Toronto in December probably wouldn't be too bad... highs in the 30s-40s-50s, lows in the 20s-30s, maybe some snow. I'd only have to drive about 500 miles northwest of there to visit my Mom...
But it's in Canada, not crazy about crossing the border, eh?

Good evening Bear! I've been working on my FR Profile and checking my library status. I tried to renew my "Unfinished Tales" and they won't let me. It has two people waiting for it.

I think I'll go for a walk.....

But it's in Canada, not crazy about crossing the border, eh? We could always pack the trunk with smokes to pay for the trip! :)

We are in the chat hroooooom!

I'm not surprised it has people waiting for it, lots of demand for JRRT nowadays.
I splurged and bought a copy of "The History of Middle-Earth" vol. 4, "The Shaping of Middle-Earth", two weekends ago. Just started reading it last night, very interesting stuff!

Nite folks, time for this tired old Hobbit to retire. Based on what I saw with Bilbo, getting overtired can do nasty things to overtired Hobbits, especially with someone brandishing the One Ring in the vicinity!

Most of the stuff in the everyday Catholic liturgy is pretty dull these days, what's the matter with Mozart and Verdi anyhow?I know what you mean. I'm a huge Anglophile when it comes to church music. Have you ever sung any hymns from the Oxford Hymnal? Our choir director in NJ used it a lot, and the choir director in our Parish uses it from time to time. I haven't joined the big choir, but sing in the Festival Choir, which does Midnight Mass, two morning Masses on Easter and Confirmation. We also sang for our Assoc. Pastor's 25th Anniv. Mass this year. I enjoy the Festival Choir because it is not every Sunday. The organist always finds really GOOD and challenging music for us to do. It always causes him some consternation, though, because we typically only have 4-5 rehearsals before we sing for Mass.
When we moved here, I just didn't want to make the commitment to the Sunday Choir because I had little kids. Don't have that excuse anymore, but I like being down in the pews singing out so others will feel free to sing along!

Allison Krauss did a great job on the soundtrack, but then I'm a fan of hers anyway!Well, since you're a fiddler, I guess you WOULD be a fan of hers!
