Hullo All! - Nice to see you! - Welcome! Welcome!

I am tempted to ping TN with a big smooch post!
To: HairOfTheDog
That's better! Thanks! ;)
I was without Internet access for about an hour this afternoon, but that was probably a good thing... kept me away from controversy on the News side until it was too late to put my two cents in.
So, no reason to lose my temper, and two cents saved! Hurrah!

Which issue was tickin' you off?
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
Hehehe...To bump or not to bump that is the question!
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
I am so sick of seeing this thread un-bumpedLOL!
It's amazing more jackasses don't wander in here than do.

It's amazing more jackasses don't wander in here than do. Uhmm, me or him? ;)

Which issue was tickin' you off?I ain't sayin! I was pinged to a thread, and if I had responded the way I wanted to I probably would have put my foot in my mouth and made a whole bunch of people mad at me, and with the nasty ol' tennies I'm wearing today putting my foot in my mouth isn't too appetizing, let me tell you!
I wouldn't want a whole bunch of people mad at me either, now that I think of it.

Fine, keep your secrets then!
I am gonna run out and do some weed-wacking - make a bit more progress on the pasture... See y'all in a bit! - Can't say now how long I will last!
To: HairOfTheDog
Have fun weed-whacking! I'm leaving work to go pick up Rose, and then we're going to go test some mattresses.
Later all!

Hey, I forgot to tell you...I got my DVD from Kia! It was a full screen, not a wide screen, but I gave it to my folks and they didn't care one way or another. It is very very clear and close up. I feel like when I zoom in using my player, it looses some of it's sharp. The zoom wasn't nessesary with this one and was very sharp. So there is good and bad about having both versions, I suppose and just a matter of taste. I prefer the wide screen, still.

Also, if we're going to schedule a simul-view sometime, we should do it on Wednesday evenings! Steve has school on those evenings!!

My sister accidentally bought the full screen version...she was so disappointed! This is one movie where it's really nice to have the whole picture. It does give her an excuse to buy the extended version without my Dad giving her TOO much of a hard time, though.
You guys might find this funny: my younger siblings have a tendancy to quote and quote and quote their favorite movies, and they have great memories for lines. They've been using FOTR so much in conversation that Dad forbade them to watch it for awhile...evidently forgetting that they've really been quoting it since they saw it in the theaters, so one day or two of not seeing it is going to make NO difference!
Quoting really bugs him, too...I can remember when we were first watching Pride and Prejudice. He walked into the room, watched for a few minutes and then groaned. We asked what the problem was, and he said, "I just realize I'm going to have to listen to that ACCENT and you guys saying stuff like 'I like this very much, very much indeed!' for the next few months!"
Poor guy...we make him put up with so much!

I'm sending you the fiddle stuff...I hope it gets there OK!
To: RosieCotton
Can you go to the chatroom? The Swallowtail jig you recorded sounds great with my whistle! I can play right along with your recording!
To: 2Jedismom
Hello! I've been unable to access the internet much recently. Life, you know! Anyway, I'm good and I think you guys are too - haven't caught up on all the posts, but I'll try. Wanted to let everyone know I was still here...

Hi Jen! Rosie just sent me a file of her playing the violin...a tune we both know and I'm rather excited! If we get together for moot someday, it's going to be great!
To: 2Jedismom

I've never been to the chatroom! How do I get there?
To: RosieCotton
Rosie - go to www.groups.yahoo.com, select our group, then click the link marked "chat". You may have to agree to download a piece of software but it's harmless. I promise - that'll do it!
