I bought a cool pen
My Rose does the same thing... we can't go into an office supply store without her checking out the pen section and picking something up.
That, and make sure you're not named Boromir.
I was getting ready to post my one-hour g'nad Threadkiller post when I saw your post...I'll take the hit for this one...
I'm sorry you're feelin' down, Rosie...here...
dwarves don't do roses...hope you like...
and if you are, make sure you are wearing your arrow-proof vest...
Hey Bear!...
Awww...thanks, g'nad!
Lucky I didn't pick up the lab coat with a "Boromir" name badge. :)
I wuv wimmen wif fiddles...
Very cool!
I'll have to get some pictures of my cats up if I get a website going. My dog, too...she's very photogenic! (Like your cat!)
;-)
My sister just got a new fid...er...violin. She calls it "Squirrelly'.
Soooo...how often do you lay awake at night thinking of cute orcses?...sometimes you worry me Hair...
I worked on Divx and the trailers for a couple of hours last nite...messing with settings etc...Finally got the media player working to the point I saw movement, but choppy, and the soundtrack wouldn't sync to the video...the divx viewer was better, but I just couldn't get audio...I saved the trailer to my hard drive, and that didn't help...what can I say...I'm a computer moron...
it looks pretty cool though...I can't wait till Nov/Dec...
Sure, but I'm not sure what I could do with it after I recorded it? I've actually made MP3s of our playing as a group before, too. But they are pretty big...couple of MBs.
I'm pretty bad at fiddle - I've only been playing since April. It's tuned the same as mandolin so I'm probably farther along than most would be at four months, but still pretty bad...
You have a recording of you playing whistle? I'd like to hear it!
you know, I still can't get your music to play on my computer...grumble grumble...
There's some sort of joke about squirrels that I'm not catching, right?
She just got it this weekend, didn't she? Speaking of names, though, that's one thing I'm not sure tin whistles usually get. A lot of our other instruments have names, though...my sister's violin is Ole Bull (that's stamped in the back - he was a famous Norwegian violinist), my guitar is Darcy (easy to guess who HE'S named after), and my Mom's cello is (or was, anyway) Ettore, after Ettore Bastianini, a baritone she loved.
My fiddle has yet to show it's name, so it' remains just "my fiddle".
