Here is the United Cutlery Narsil....

I would want the sheath too....

And a pair of Legolas's Ginsu knives of death!

Narsil is the shortest one of the three I see on the webpage...I would like it too. What would you think if you were a stranger talking to my kids over the fence and you see this slightly pudgy housewife dashing out of the house brandishing Narsil?

ROFLOL! The mental image alone cracks me up.

I think one would generally get a wide berth when one was carrying it! - Brandished or not!

I would want the sheath too..

I would think that wearing it without the sheath might get a trifle uncomfortable. For the horse too!

Hopefully they were able to use the newer procedure.

Yes, I got the laproscopy. I now have three neat little scars on my stomach (1 just below my breastbone, 2 on my right side) and an extra wrinkle in my navel (where the fourth hole was placed.)

Now that I think of it, that was probably TMI... but I just finished watching the DVD set for the first time... 6 hours immersed in Middle Earth... and I'm just slightly punchy. Tomorrow I'll probably post some thoughts about things in the movie that I hadn't noticed before... but right now I'm too tired!

Good night all!

Good morning everyone! Here's what a lake is supposed to look like. :)

2JM, how did the Kia drive?

Good morning Overtaxed, that's a pretty image, as usual.

Would you like some lutefisk for breakfast?

It says this is a dried lutefisk, like Hair, LCS and Bear enjoy. Is it, actually, do you think?

It looks like they got it out of an eel more than a cod to me, though.

Yes, and without the sheath, it wouldn't make that cool noise when I draw it!

Yum.... As if the idea of Lutefisk isn't bad enough when it is fresh... Now we are drying it and saving it for later.

It is a pretty long thin fish filet. There may be cod that are that long and lean like that, or it may be some other white fish too...

Thanks for sharing Sam! Hullo! Good Morning!

With one of those (Narsil) + a potato gun, we'll be ready to "hunt some orc."

I'll pass on the lutefish, thanks. I'm not eating anything that's been soaked in lye.

That's a pretty good policy to live by... Although, as our gentleman above is demonstrating, Lutefisk is good for those on the move... He is clearly going somewhere with his fish!
