Yes, we experienced the "glitch." We ended up going back to the scene menu and moving on. Was the scene with Legolas at a distance? Like the outside of a house?

It's at the end of the Council of Elrond scene, right after Pippin says, "Right. Where are we going?" It freezes for a split second, and then moves on to the next scene, the Frodo-Bilbo-Sting scene.

I picked up a copy for someone at work, and she tells me she has the same problem on her copy, so it must be a common mastering problem. She also tells me of a problem on disc two, but I haven't had a chance to check that out yet.
