I anticipate Matrix II will be awful. That possibility exists. It's also possible that the creators will follow up and expand on some of the plot ideas hinted at in the first movie. Only 2003 will tell. :)

You've made your point that you aren't interested in Hobbit things. And I'm no longer interested in the insanity of the religious wars.
Tomorrow will be five weeks since I've posted there. I don't read the threads, I don't read the pings. And I am just as secure, if not moreso, in my faith than I was when I was "there." There are Calvinists here whom I respect and admire. I can't say that on the religion threads.
I don't pee in your sandbox. If you have a bladder problem, please stay out of ours.

Great special effects but very tedious to the Hobit-illiterate. My 13-year-old hadn't read any Tolkien before the movie. He had no problems and is now perhaps a bigger fan than I.

I have a report due to the higher ups on 7/31. I was given the option (by the higher ups) of submitting the report 1) via the website, 2) via email or 3) via fax.
I was told "electronic systems change and data recovery is difficult, we need to keep a hard copy on file."
I have dozens of hard copies of this information, just not in the same format. My supervisor is just paranoid because he lost his WordPerfect files when we switched to Word (I of course, have all of mine re-translated into Word, but someone didn't read the directions, or depended on someone else to do it for him).
Grrrrr.....

Good morning All!
Well, we're running into a bit of a problem. It seems Katie wants nothing to do with anyone but me. She won't mind anyone else (just ignores them), she won't play with anyone else (won't even make eye contact with them). If the kids take her outside, she won't play with them...just stands by the door till she can come back in with me.
I think I must remind her of someone. But the thing is, I really don't want a pet! Remember my philosphy? I don't want a pet I can't eat.
She slept on the foot of Josh's bed last night, but kept trying to come in with me off and on.

You back on the water today? The water is an everyday thing now. Pretty much all drink anymore is water, with juice and coffee in the morning. (although we anticipate a few pints at the beach...three weeks and counting...)
