I love this thread because I can rant about something that I know for the most part everyone is going to agree with me on! I feel like I'm standing with a group of very smart people and I can't believe you want anything to do with me! I mean, I don't get the phonebook thing either! LOL

hehehehe.... It's from the movie "The Jerk" with Steve Martin... The first time he was in the phone book he got all excited and shouted "The phone books are here! The phone books are here! Look! - I AM somebody!" Very funny movie from the days of my yoot.

It's been a very hard morning. We ran out of sugar and I ultimately used sorghum syrup in my coffee. It's drinkable, but one ought not have to go through such trials this early in the morning (10am). After I get this cup down, I may go to Quik Trip and get one of their coffees. Mmmm! I'll pick up a thing of sugar at Aldis on the way home.

Ok, it's a working plan.

I laugh about that movie just about everytime I take the little one to bed.

He wants his "munch" (what he currently calls his drink/sippy cup)...
Then he wants his blanket...
Then he wants a car, or a little people, and Pooh...

You know..."all I need is this ashtray and nothing else...and this chair..."

Oh yeah, that's one part I know. I do that little skit all the time with Steve...I never fail to get him to laugh. I use it when he's being sullen. He starts turning red, then starts laughing out his nose like he's trying not to (when he's acting sullen, he likes acting that way, I think). Then after just a few "All I need is this and this" things...I usually have him laughing which irritates him highly!
