I don't see where you get "pudgy" from. You will note I have a strategically placed 6 year old in front of my pudgy parts! LOL

My goal in raising my kids is not "growing kids God's way", but raising Godly kids. I think there is a difference. I want to be an example to my children on godly living, and I want to encourage them to become godly, but ultimately it is their choice. For example, my husband comes from a very godly home. His father was an extremly godly man, and I admire him. My husband's family raised their children to be godly, but not all of them have chosen to be godly. It was ultimately a choice they made. That's what I think is important for parents. They need to be an example, teach their children right from wrong, punish them if need be, but in the end they have to be let go to make thier own decisions.

Another picture of the boys...acting goofy with my dad.
I feel like one of those moms that carries around a big old wallet of pictures with her and is all the time saying "You wanna see my pictures of my kids?" LOL

I think they are great. Neat to see the kids after hearing so much about them!
I am just taking a breather from the weed-whacking the pasture fence. I am using hand-tools for a tractor job. I am a farmer without farm tools... I am a farmer's wife without a farmer!
Ginsu Hobbit farmer

Your ginsu guy isn't showing up for some reason...
To: 2Jedismom
hmmm... he is for me... right click him and "show picture" or refresh... he may have just tripped on a bump in the internet.
I am off again! Back in another tank of gas!

Be careful! Wear Safety glasses!

I hate deer.

Ok - enough weed-whacking for one day! - I am gonna go get some hay to unload tomorrow, and then go have a pound o'steak at the tavern with a friend.
My baby bunny is still around and scampering very normal bunny like! - I saw him again today. He is not much bigger than a rat, but he seems to be finding the food I left under the mangers and avoiding my blind cat and the dogs.
To: HairOfTheDog
He seems to be doing okay then. That's what you want, right? Right now I'm not feeling very varmint-friendly!
To: Overtaxed
Sure that is what I want! - I don't have any crops though, so I like my bunny family around.
To: HairOfTheDog
If bunnies have done damage to my crop, I can't tell because of the deer! Just call me Farmer Maggot.
To: Overtaxed
hehehe - I have a deer too... in my woods. She is pretty shy, but I have seen her twice recently. I like her around too.
Well, it is shower time... then on to dinner! - See everyone around later - perhaps!

I hate deer.Welcome to the club!

Well, it looks like we're the only animal lovers around here ;) I love deer too--and my Dad was bragging the other day that they had a deer making herself at home at the ol' homestead as well as a family of black bears that seems to have moved in behind my parents house as well.
I may have to start visiting home more often, just for a chance to see the resident wildlife. ;)
To: Penny1
I'd like the resident wildlife better if they would leave my beans alone. They even munched on my corn for crying out loud!

Hmmm....two sneaks away....

Old habits (hobbits?) die hard.
