I dunno... Sauron is here (Middle Earth)
To: HairOfTheDog
Sauron is here (Middle Earth) I was thinking that the five Istari are a subgroup of Maiar that were sent on a mission to Middle Earth.
Borogroves gets the semiPrecious!

Did you see Legolas shield-boarding down the stairs? hehehehe Penny - Can you get us any screen caps from this thang?
Huh? Did I miss something? Geez, not being online during the day really sucks! I'm assuming this means there is a new trailer out--I'm also assuming that it is an official internet trailer (I hope). I will make screencaps if I can, as soon as I can, and let y'all know. Sorry I didn't have time to catch up with all the posts to see what's going on, but I'll catch up tonight hopefully.
Now, I have to go back to the salt mines. :( Hopefully, I'll catch ya'll tonight when I get home....

Yep you missed something! There is an early release out of the Teaser Trailer... It is Quicktime, but fairly low resolution... Look for two threads on it in the Hobbit topic, and one post of mine buried here.
I bet this is an unauthorized version of the one reported to be released on the official site July 6... Which I would expect will be a nice high res version.

I think I've found it! In
Letters number 143 to Rayner Unwin Jan 22, 1954:
I am not at all happy about the title 'the Two Towers'. It must if there is any real reference in it to Vol II refer to Orthanc and the Tower of Cirith Ungol. But since there is so much made of the basic opposition of the Dark Tower and Minas Tirith, that seems very misleading. There is, of course, actually no real connecting link between Books III and IV, when cut off and presented separately as a volume.

Where are my Mallorn seeds?
To: Overtaxed
Coming.... I am gonna have to find some!
So it is Cirith Ungul/Minus Morgul/Minus Ithyl?(curse this habit of giving everything four names)
To: Overtaxed
I think I've found it! Congratulations! I think it's neat that the title can apply so many ways... Orthanc & Cirith Ungol (which is one I hadn't thought of), Minas Morgul & Minas Tirith, Barad-Dur & Orthanc, etc., etc.
Borogroves?
