I see that those wimmen flirt and wink with unbridled abandon AAhhh, but you have seen that g'nad doesn't partipate in their flirtin'...(doesn't mean that I don't appreciate...) Mrs. g'nad is secure...

Yes, Hair, I'm sure really long Dwarf... swords... would drag on the ground.
To: HairOfTheDog

You will note the size of my axe...it has greater girth...
To: g'nad; Bear_in_RoseBear

For the record, I was talkin' about swords! Nothing more, nothing less ;~D
To: HairOfTheDog
LOL! Mrs g'nad is beckoning me to bed :o) g'nite all!
To: g'nad
Goodnight!
To: g'nad
it has greater girth...I've been told that can be an important consideration.
Good night!

I was talkin' about swords! Nothing more, nothing lessOf course you were, what did you think I meant?
I've read that short swords serve Hobbits in the same way that long swords serve Men.

Yes, I am sure that proportion is the most important consideration.... Too big of a sword is just unwieldy and hard to control precisely ...

Too big of a sword is just unwieldy and hard to control precisely(nodding sagely) Yes, so I've heard. And there's always that dragging problem to consider.
On a side note, I have just got to get me some smiley icons. One displaying a big ol' guffaw would come in quite handy at the moment...

Good evening! I'm too tired to think about the sword debate. That was 14 hours straight working. I'm exhausted.
Sorry, about the simulacast tomorrow, it won't work for me. I am only working 7 hours, but it's the hours of 4 to 11 at night. So... and I have to be up Sunday at a decent hour to prepare for church. It may be a while until I can watch again...
I'm so tired. And driven out of my mind by having no free time. It's midnight here, I should go to bed, but I haven't done anything cool all day. So - do you think I can sleep in tomorrow? I doubt it. Oh well. Am I making any sense?

I am afraid I don't have a guffaw!
To: JenB
Sure you are making sense! - I worry that you are burning yourself out! I mean, If I am not mistaken, you have gone from not working, and going to school, which leaves you with all kinds of free time, to working more than 50 hours a week in the period of a couple weeks! - Good grief girl... I can understand the need for bucks, but even the young need rest - and fun! - Are you gonna have any fun this summer?
To: HairOfTheDog
I am afraid I don't have a guffaw! Oh, well, that's what Google is for I guess...
To: JenB
Not that hangin' here with us in your spare minutes isn't fun!

To: HairOfTheDog
Fun? Maybe. Writing is fun. I've managed to write almost 6000 words over lunch breaks and late at night in the past week. And making up insults under my breath for lousy tippers is fun. By the way, if you hear of manticores infesting Southwest PA, it's because some of my minor curses actually worked....

I'm too tired to think about the sword debate. That's probably for the best.
do you think I can sleep in tomorrow?
When the mind is stressed, it doesn't sleep very well. Some relaxtion and fun before bedtime might help. For myself, I always need an hour or two to decompress after a long and busy day, before heading to bed.
To: HairOfTheDog
hangin' here with us You know, it is strangely impressive to see all of them arrayed together like that.
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
Yeah, I've been posting in my livejournal. It's a good tool for getting the stress out, and my foreign friends can keep up on what I'm doing. Fewer emails to write. I'm too tired to do anything other than surf or sleep, though. Twenty minutes, then definitely bed.
