Its soooo nice, to know that I am not the only one who thought they did something illegal on the computer....

Westy, I dont know how to do any of those things on the computer...but I will mention my problems to my son, when he comes down for Easter, and he will solve the problem...when he was living here, after he returned from his around the world trip, he took my whole computer apart and cleaned it for me...he showed me the inside guts of the computer...it was pretty interesting...but I got scared that he would not be able to put it back together again...

but I didn't know how to buy more memory

If you have a PC try clicking Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools. You should see ScanDisk and DiskDefragmenter listed. When you have some time click on one and follow instructions...Depending on how big a HardDrive you have it can take some time.....
