If December 18 is the day that the report drops on foreign interference in the election, then look at the meme of Santa Claus wielding a hammer. Do arrests start on Christmas? Is that the first day of darkness when the internet and Mainstream Media go dark? Does Suicide Weekend occur the weekend after Christmas or the weekend after New Years? Does every election over the past 20 years get declared invalid?
This could get interesting — the way a live hand grenade is interesting.

December 18 is the last possible due date for the report from the DNI. I think once the report is delivered, the Attorney General and Secretary of Homeland Security must deliver a report within 45 days of receiving that assessment. If the two evaluating parties take the maximum time to deliver their assessments, the whole process could take until February 1, and it isn’t clear from the EO how much information the public will receive during or after the two assessments.
With the changes in leadership in Congress on January 3, we can expect the maximum amount of obstruction from Congress. Maybe the findings will be so bad that PDJT will activate the Continuity of Government plan again, if in fact it was ended when he was sworn in in 2025. That could serve to neuter the incoming zealots.
What about invocation of the Insurrection Act? I’m not saying “Do it” or “Don’t do it” — I’m just wondering how come I haven’t seen anything — here or on any other site — about that lately. Seems that for a while, it was frequently mentioned as a possibility.
I’ve probably just overlooked mentions of it. Not inclined to be on the Internet much, oddly enough.
