NY City is a welfare city. It produces nothing. It lives off the skimmings of printed-fiat, debt-trading Wall Street, state aid, and massive Federal transfers.
Over generations, that non-stop availability of money has produced an entitled political class which has gone increasingly aggressive and marxist.
