I have followed this for years and read a ton of material on Bundy. What amazed me was how disconnected law enforcement was in the 1970s. The story of his escape from state prison in Colorado, trip to Stapleton Airport, purchasing a ticket with cash and no ID, flight to O’Hare, visit to Ann Arbor, bus to Atlanta, then FL, and the final mayhem he committed there is just astonishing; then you think of how many places that path would be interrupted in the modern world, with modern communications.
Florida finally took care of business on that sick bastard. Thank God.
