Sadly, and very stupidly, John Cornyn, and his Liddle’ Buddy, Super RINO, Karl Rove, are doing everything possible to make it hard for Ken Paxton, the Greatest Attorney General in the History of Texas, and one of the Best in the United States, to win the upcoming Midterm Election against a Radical Left Lunatic, James TalaFREAKO, who is the ANTITHESIS of Texas Values. John Cornyn who, after my Endorsement, lost the Primary to Ken by a very wide margin, and Karl Rove, who shouldn’t be allowed to spew his jealousy on FoxNews, should be ashamed of themselves. They are hurting Texas and, more importantly, hurting the United States of America! If Ken Paxton loses, it will be because of WEAK and INEFFECTIVE Political Hacks like John Cornyn and Karl Rove, who have ineffectively opposed me for my entire political career. As your ALL TIME WINNER in the History of Texas, “Trump won 96% of the Counties in Texas, 242 of 254. Harris won only 12 counties (FoxNews),” and by MILLIONS of Popular Votes, the Highest in the History of Texas, your favorite President (ME!) is asking all of those who supported Senator John Cornyn to UNITE, and immediately switch your support to Ken Paxton. He will be a Great Senator, just like he is a Great Attorney General. We cannot take a chance on having a FREAKO, sometimes referred to as James TalaFREAKO, as our man in Washington, D.C., representing the magnificent people of the Great State of Texas! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP

Both are losers.
Even if Paxton is a jerk, the bottom line is this:
Which of the two will vote the way you want in the Senate, for Supreme Court nominees and other bills?
>> Paxton is the victim of the proverbial “long knives” of the deep state insiders never forgetting a slight and waiting years, even decades, for retribution.
Good contextual insight, well said. Thank you.
Abbott is not exactly “one of them”, but he does have a tendency to lead from the rear. He generally does the right thing though; his instincts are good and he takes influence from front-leaders.
There are two notable “leaders from the front” that IMHO have been a positive influence on Abbott over his time in office.
The first is Governor DeSantis in Florida.
The second is... his AG, Ken Paxton.
Again, just my opinion.
>> Which of the two will vote the way you want in the Senate, for Supreme Court nominees and other bills?
Yup. The battle is not wrestling personalities in the mud arena.
The battle is among competing worldviews and agendas. And the worldviews in question aren’t “20 degrees apart”, they’re 180 degrees out from each other. Literally, good vs. evil.
In my opinion, it’s not out of line to say “the real battle is in the heavenlies”, a la Ephesians 6.
>> Both are losers.
Each is flawed.
Paxton is NOT a “loser” though. He is superb at what he does.
I would even go as far to say, “Vote For The Crook. It’s Important!”
“Already making excuses.
This is gonna be bad.”
Unfortunately for your psych TDS, Paxton will win. You must not have understood the sentiment in Trump’s post, which, in your case, is easy to comprehend.
You can file for divorce without a press conference about your “Christian values” during your husband’s hotly contested primary. She is an ambitious politician and she saw a way to ingratiate herself with team Cornyn who she thought would win. Her latest turn is an attempt to damage control her political career.
Cornyn is a RINO disaster and has been for years. Now, he simply is demonstrating that he is a sore looser but what else did true Republicans expect from this POS.
As to Rove, the question is whether he ever even was a Republican. He should take his white board and shove it up his rear end.
As to Fox News, father and son owners are, and have been for years, anti Trumpers. There is little in the way of news commentators who are worth watching on Fox. If you want news, then watch Newsmax.
Abbott benefitted from his comparison to DeSantis on how he managed the COVID-19 shutdown. Abbott could easily slipped into the mainstream governors' statewide shutdowns, but Abbott wisely followed Florida's lead in recognizing the need to allow the people some freedom of movement.
I had tickets to see the Eagles Hotel California tour on March 7, 2020 at the Toyota Center in Houston. Great show! On March 8, Abbott declared the shutdown and canceled all public events until further notice. At least he didn't follow Gretchen Whitmer's lead and keep stores like Home Depot open but close the "outdoor" sections so that people stuck at home couldn't still go outside to do home and garden repair.
Regarding Paxton, Abbott also benefitted from Paxton fighting the Biden administrations border policies. As AG, Paxton was supporting the "resistance" movement by finding ways to erect state defenses along the border if the federal government wouldn't do it on federal land. Paxton also brought election-related suits during the Biden administration, making him a MAGA Attorney General that Abbott was fortunate to play off of during a period of high-profile actions that shaped his image.
And the "Governor Hot Wheels" quip didn't hurt, either.

I think the President did a very good job of laying out the options for Texas voters. Go, Ken Paxton!
Paxton was impeached for the same reason Trump was, fighting against the staus quo corrupt politics as usual .
In Paxton's case, he has been a threat to the duplicitous Bush league Republicans power sharing deal with the Dems in Austin.
And as with Trump, Paxton was acquitted from removal of office.
If there was any legitimacy to the corruption allegations against Paxton, he would have been criminally convicted instead of impeached.
Trump whines like a little girl when things do go his way.
I am no fan of Paxton. I despise Talarico.
Texas has some work to do. I have faith in them.
It just seems like a whiney Trump post.
It’s about time that someone calls out Cornyn and Rove for the duplicitous, fake Texan RINO douchebags that they are.
It’s about time that someone calls out Cornyn and Rove for the duplicitous, fake Texan RINO douchebags that they are.
“It just seems like a whiney Trump post.”
Cornyn was heard to say that Paxton should lose to teach the Repubicans a lesson.
Cornyn and Rove are snakes and are selling out Texas to the Muslims. Instead of trying to stop Islam from taking over Texas, as the Muslims are now bragging loudly they will do, these two fools are trying to stop Trump.
Why is Trump whining when he is telling the truth?
Musk has funneled a staggering $153 million to the Paxton campaign through the Senate Leadership PAC.
That’s not a sign that Paxton is running strong.
“I doubt any leftists will bet THEIR OWN money on the freako fella.” I don’t know if the betting is coming from leftists or from just plain, apolitical speculators, but as of tonight, Kalshi shows Talarico favored by 68-32% over Paxton, with a total handle of $29,717,441 at stake.
Bill Clinton cheated on his wife (how many times?) and was impeached.... no Dem gave a darn about that so don’t lecture about Paxson’s infidelity or ridiculous impeachment. He was a great Attorney General, fighting for Texas and the illegal ridiculousness of the Obama/Biden administration that reused to enforce immigration laws and more! Paxson will be the next Junior Senator from Texas by 4-5 points.
Did you see today's CNN report: James Talarico announces record-breaking $64 million fundraising haul in Texas Senate race?
Where's your comment that this isn't a sign that Talarico is running strong?
How about Talarico's two New York City $27,000 a plate dinners? How about California's billionaire Reid Hoffman's funding of Talarico? Are those signs that Talarico is not running strong?
Texas has become the Holy Grail of electoral politics for the left. The see winning Texas as a demoralizing blow to the right, an order of magnitude greater than taking Georgia in the last cycle.
They've been pouring more money into Texas each election from Beto O'Rourke to Colin Allred to James Talarico. When Republicans counter with their own funding, that's "not a strong sign" to you? Shouldn't it be seen as a counter-offensive move to match the Democrats like-for-like?
The Democrats are looking at taking Texas like when a cathedral is taken by the Muslims and razed, building a mosque on top of the ruins. That's how the Democrats see winning Texas. The only thing they want is to hear the lamentations of the posters.
