Following reporting by @SaraGonzalesTX and @CarolineWren , a hospital employee told @RheinAmacher and I that Talarico had in fact been a patient at the Lindner Center of Hope near Cincinnati, Ohio, which specializes in around-the-clock mental health treatment.
While I sympathize with those dealing with mental health crises, this man is CLEARLY not suited to become a US Senator representing over 30 MILLION TEXANS.
The job doesn’t get easier after being elected — it only gets MORE stressful.
And Talarico clearly can’t handle it.
I pray he gets the help he needs, but Texans need a real representative they can rely on.

Could be - except there is coincidental reporting that lines up with it. His flights, etc.
But, let’s just pretend it’s propaganda. What’s your theory for a candidate who couldn’t bother to show proof of life for two weeks? Personally, I think spending two weeks in a mental ward is less concerning than a lot of other possibilities to fill in that blank.

Most of them, except the pure diehards, that would rather lose a senate seat to show their TDS, will gladly pull the lever for Paxton as he is hands down a better pick than the mentally unstable one running as the opposition.
Not only does Paxton reflect the majority of texan views and beliefs, but he is also a R in the R column for national ramifications.

Yes. I heard a podcaster describing Talarico as wearing a skin-suit, and...boy, that fit in my brain like a key in a lock.
It definitely put a finger on something creepy. A skin suit like a shape-shifter, or someone to whom putting on a “skin suit” meant something other than a metaphor or the act of adopting a persona.
When I state that someone like President Trump is comfortable in his own skin, it means one thing, and a good thing, too.
But when I think of that same phrase in the case of Talarico, it has a whole different interpretation and meaning to it.
The very LEAST of which is “What is his “own” skin?”

It’s an anonymous report - but backed up by independent reporting on Talarico flight information, etc. No one’s fired because no one is identified. At least so far.

I figure Trump helped Cruz a great deal in 2024. Paxton right now seems like he's non-existent on the campaign trail. Is the plan to let voters decide the election by whether they like or hate Talarico?
Bloody awful campaign strategy in modern times. IN the old days when nearly everyone voted on Election Day, this might work. But with early voting and DEMs heavy reliance on it, this could backfire.
