My daughter lived there many years ago. When I visited her, I found a beautiful country with polite people running restaurantsand stores. So happy we had the best of France.
Even under the Nazis, there were no riots. Mass deportation of Jews, total suppression of dissent, sure. But they left the beautiful streets and buildings alone.
