290 mil to Musk is like, what, $1.50 to me?
Musk probably lost a bunch of contracts and the good will of anti-Trump former customers, that the real number is impossible to determine. We also know that unless you want to stop people and organizations from buying cars and trucks and satellite launches and AI services and satellite phone service, he would have made that money anyway.
The irony is that Sanders chose to further enrich Musk by posting complaint on his X platform, I guess Blue Sky (or whatever it is called) doesn’t get the word out.
(Full disclosure: my next Data Center assignment may be at Musk’s xAI plant in Memphis for a sub-contractor. I am glad he might share some of his income with my employer in exchange for my work.)
A whole bunch of companies that DIDN’T contribute to Trump, or who contributed to both sides are also much richer today.

Bernie is probably ignorant of the conditions for the causal hypothesis to be proven:
1. A (such as a campaign contribution) must occur before B, and
2. B and only B must be shown to be the only cause of B’s occurrence.
