I found out not long ago that almost all the dentists and doctors, and I assume other medicial professionals, are FOREIGNERS. Apparently they will work for less money than US citizens. I went to 2 dentists in the last few years, one was from Sri Lanka, and one from Mexico. They both appeared to hate Americans, and both experiences were very misterable.
