We must beware of careless pattern recognition; that’s a useful tool if we grab the right pattern, but it can lead us astray if we grab the wrong pattern, due to operating with very incomplete information.

I invested 30 seconds in a deep dive beyond Wikipedia. One source said that she had outed herself as straight, apparently years ago. But my intensive 30 second search did not turn up any acknowledged or rumored relationships. By itself, that doesn’t mean much; many people, even celebrities, are very careful to keep their private lives private, and they will police websites and get stories pulled.
So what’s with her schtick about wanting a BLTQXYZ=-# son? That also could mean anything, but she considers herself a comedienne.
Given the event at which she was performing, she obviously considers herself an ally of the rainbow coalition types. The fat girl who spent her younger years striking out with men deciding to hang around with gay men is an old story. If men don’t find you attractive, hang out with men who aren’t in the market to begin with.
Geeks hang out with geeks for the same reason.
FWIW, she has lost an impressive amount of weight recently. My guess is that she finally went on one of the GLP-1 medications, but that’s my speculation. That might put a twist on the “body positivity” personna that she’s built over the years, but if diabetes kicks in, ya do what ya gotta do.
People are fat for a variety of reasons. Yes, be disciplined. Yes, get more exercise. No, don’t medicate your inner angst with the Twinkie diet. But some people can gain ten pounds just walking by a bakery in the morning. I know several people who have made herculean efforts to lose weight, and it just doesn’t happen. Modernity is part of the problem; we don’t burn off 4,000 calories a day any longer.
A lot of fat person stories would be different if Hippocrates had invented GLP-1 drugs 2,500 years ago.
