IMO, Lindsay Clancy had absolutely NO intention of killing herself. It was theater to make her look sympathetic after the murders. You don’t die jumping from two stories. If she truly wanted to commit suicide, she would have.
She didn’t consider unintended consequences, i.e., paralysis.
Conspiracy theorists came up with the idea that Patrick was complicit in the murders. So I decided to come up with my own theory: She isn’t really paralyzed. Pretending, and milking it, until she’s acquitted. Then — TA DA!! — a miracle cure. (Just kidding.)
