I had a similar experience with my old fraternity. Due especially to undergraduate incompetence and failure to pay bills the chapter failed and closed its doors. Now, as one of the graduates from earlier, better times, I'm being asked to kick in more. I had planned a substantial bequest that would have covered most of the arrerages run up by the parasites. Instead, I eliminated the planned bequest.

My wife and I have had quite similar experiences. Begging from the alumni associations from a couple of universities. That the budgets are gone 'cracker dog' for ineptitude, mismanagement and all, and then wallpapered with Lefty politics, the donations' well from us went bone dry and will stay that way. Best wishes.
