I believe that’s called psoriatic arthritis. They have a medication for it now -— Skyrizi. I understand it’s $20,000 a pop, but some people need only one injection (or infusion, I don’t remember which). Sounds like a lion diet might be cheaper, considering ya gotta eat, even if you take the medication.

Have ya seen the price of beef lately?
I suffered from both the skin and arthritis...
First check vitamin d levels... mine was so low it almost didn’t register.. I still take 10000 units a day to put me at the low end of normal..
Lots of sunlight, as much as possible without getting burned.
I also sweet talked a doctor into writing me a prescription for a uvb narrow band light box.
It wasn’t cheap, but I’ve had it for over 20 years
Last thing is drugs, methotrexate is the best, but it has side effects.
I’ve been clear or close to it for 15 years now
Good luck
Good luck
Skyrizi is brutally expensive (in the neighborhood of 20K per shot). 1 starter shot, a booster 1 month later, then one shot every three months after in perpetuity unless it stops working for whatever reason.
And yes, having psoriatic arthritis and plaque psoriasis is a drag, a real drag.
Thank you to both of you for your response.
I’ll discuss it with him when I see him next.
I recall him saying he had an infusion and it helped a lot.
I always thought psoriasis was a skin disorder that caused skin to be irritated in patches. What he experienced was far beyond that. It would make any one depressed.
