What do you think of honey as a sweetener? Same as sugar, or not as bad?

Honey contains trace amounts of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, whereas refined white sugar has none.

But at the end of the day and despite differences in digestion, the body processes the final glucose and fructose molecules similarly. Both contribute to added sugar intake and should be consumed in moderation.
