How can you possibly eat chocolate without sugar? I can do 70% cacao but that’s about as low as I can go. I think I’m still getting some sugar.
You work up to it....I eat SOME 100%, and should just quit the 85-90%...maybe I will, soon.
We’ve got a neighbor who eats 100% cacao chocolate. I prefer 70%-80% range, can tolerate 90%. Chocolate, especially dark chocolate, is rich in flavonoids, which are compounds that can support heart health and improve circulation. It also contains caffeine and magnesium, which can enhance mental acuity and energy levels.
I take CocoaVia 750 mg Ultra Cocoa Flavanol supplements which are rich in cocoa flavanols, especially (-)-epicatechin. No sugar, fat, or calories found in chocolate.
I add Stevia or monkfruit to the melted chocolate. I'm not a masochist.
These have little effect upon blood sugar.
