It's starting to remind me of that tv series, Person of Interest. It's a bravescary new world... and getting scarier by the day. Looks like we are headed toward a world where no privacy is allowed and any sense of having privacy is merely an illusion.

Look at this. There is a company that takes pictures of entire football stadiums full of people with this kind of clarity:

You, as an ordinary citizen can view these by simply going to a website, putting in the date, stadium, and seat number and get this kind of picture above. In the picture above my face and companions are blurred out, but I can tell you that I could show that picture to anyone I know and they could easily and without any trace of uncertainty identify me 100% of the time.

And that is good enough for facial recognition, I am told. All they need to do is...do it. And they most certainly do, I am sure.
