I believe there is a treaty that precludes this.

I have thought for some time that we had deployed the "rods from gods" weaponry in space. I just assumed we had since it was never part of the treaty.

And I still doubt we have nuclear weapons up there. We are going to go as far as we can without breaking the treaty. Right up to the line.

Read the article. The treaty prohibits WMD, not conventional weapons.
