My son-in-law just got a Tesla last month & we’re all very enamored of what it can do. I can especially see a need for one if you’re elderly like us (73). My daughter OTOH is still having trouble adapting to it. We’ll get one eventually, but I’m still keeping my 2018 Murano SUV until I die.
Probably the hardest things about a Tesla is getting over that "gasoline mentality" and range anxiety. It's not a gasoline-powered car, so it doesn't require the same attention and maintenance. Although I've driven our car hundreds of miles out of state a few times, you're likely not in danger of running out of battery power just doing everyday errands. Whenever you finally get home, just plug it in and forget about it.
