In the book of Daniel we’re told that much of what occurs at the time of the end cannot be understood until that day arrives. It will be sealed up until that time, when knowledge will be increased.

“And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true. Therefore shut thou up the vision, for it shall be for many days.” - Daniel 8:26

“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” - Daniel 12:4

How many of the “wicked” understand these things? Answer: None.

“Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.” - Daniel 12:10

It appears to me the Church of Laodicea cannot understand or see or witness the times they’re in either. Nothing good is said about them.

“Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.” - Revelation 3:17-19
