I don't see Musk/Tesla protesting.
Tesla is doing very well in China/Asia, making cars in Shanghai and selling them in China/Asia.
GM/Ford are not doing great in EV’s right now and its not because of Chinese auto makers either.
I find it very hard to believe we can work with a country with such a horrible human rights record and call it okay.
