News from the front. Russia is still winning? I say it belongs to Big Mo. Should be a leg in there as well.

What are the chances that those fragments are authentic preserved remains of that prince? Probably all Russians presented with these icons know it’s best to keep any such doubts unsaid.

An interesting NYPost article by Reyes, referencing another article, a commentary by someone who currently is living and working in Massachusetts. Reyes left that part out.

The individual cited is published by the "The Carnegie Russia Eurasia Center in Berlin is home to the world's leading regional experts on Russia and the wider region."

Soure: Russia's Orthodox Church Rewrites Rules for Venerating Saints to Help the Kremlin By Alexander Zanemonets, Carnegie Politika. 8 September 2026.

Of the author published by Carnegie Berlin, one learns:

"Rev. Dr. Alexander Zanemonets is an Orthodox priest and historian who received his PhD from Moscow State University in 2004. Originally from Moscow, he has lived in Israel since 2002, serving as a senior lecturer at the University of Haifa. He is currently an associate researcher at the Institute of Eastern Christian Studies at Radboud University in the Netherlands. From 2022 to 2024, he served as a priest ministering to Ukrainian war refugees in the Orthodox Church of Finland. Since September 2025, he has been Rector of Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church (Orthodox Church in America) in Springfield, Massachusetts."

Interesting.
