In the General/Chat forum, on a thread titled See photo below, at 16 minutes nobody appears on the camera but the scrubber thumbnail for that time shows individuals placing the infamous bag at the Memorial Door. Did Cap Police try to hide this from Oversight? [J6 missing video], Raycpa wrote: On January 6, rioters at the Lower West Terrace entrances (near the Memorial/Lower West doors) used bear spray and other chemical irritants against police lines, and threw projectiles including fire extinguishers. Officers were driven back inside the tunnel and building, and clouds of chemical irritant filled interior spaces — footage of officers retreating through hazy corridors was widely circulated at the time.
The video the House Rumble account hosted shows the area in front of the doors empty at a specific time. But, at the bottom of the image there's a small thumbnail used when dragging your cursor along the timing track to help a person seeking specific content find it without actually watching the whole video. If you point your cursor to the timing track when the image of the empty area in front of the building is displayed, the full sized image and the small thumbnail (yellow semi circle in the image below) should match.
However, the small image (thumbnail I marked in yellow) shows a man delivering a yellow gear bag or parcel in front of the door. So why does the thumbnail of the point in time in that video not match the full sized image at the same point in time?
Watching the thumbnail later in the video shows a second man arriving and putting zip ties on the door knobs on the outside so officers or those escaping the protesters (bear spray) are now locked inside.
Inquiring minds wanted to know where the original footage was and why it is not captured in the full sized video released.
The X.com account I posted recreated the video by making still images of those little thumbnails on the timing track.
The House needs to explain to the public why those images, at that portion of the full sized video, were unavailable in the video they released. Most people would never think to search the thumbnails.
The man zip tying the doors locked with police inside is clearly doing someting wrong. I can't be sure about the parcel delivery because there's (another) break in the video between the two men - we see the yellow bag arrive, but we don't see it taken into the building. The question is how could footage of these two men 'go missing' on a House CCTV recording, and perhaps why is there a gap in the thumbnail images between the arrival of these two men.
