2nd Vatican counsel [sic]......it pronounced that sex is not only for procreation but also for the mutual enjoyment of the two married consenting adults. THAT folks is what really changed. Sex was removed from being an instrument of procreation to simple pleasure.

"Not only" does not equate with "no longer" or "being removed."

The determination made by the Second Vatican Council was merely to emphasize that the consecration of weddings between, e.g., elderly people who had already aged out of their reproductive phase were still valid, and that sex between (younger) married individuals who - for whatever natural reason - could not conceive and produce children were still blessed by God.

Vatican II might have a lot of points worthy of criticism, but that ain't one of them.
