Perhaps, but that would be technically an overshoot, not an overrun.
If it truly was an overrun.. I would not assume its pilot error as most likely culprit.
Of course the media could be misreporting, and calling it an overrun when it was indeed an overshoot.
Initial data and visual reports suggest the plane overshot the landing zone by a large margin and then overran the end of the runway by a large margin.
