The early days of the slave trade (1500s especially) were run by Spain and Portugal.

For some reason they seem to get off lightly.

They don’t have any money. Reparations are a shakedown.

When are the Turks and Arabs going to be forced to atone for their longstanding participation in the enslavement of anyone, white or black, who wasn't a Muslim? Supposedly "protected people" living under Muslim rule were safe, but the Turks enslaved Christian boys in the "devshirme."

Anywhay, since Homo sapiens originated in Africa, every statue of a person in London is of someone of African descent.

The overwhelming majority of slaves went to Brazil.

Somehow the UN overlooks how many indigenous people were ensnared in it too. It wasn’t just Africans.

They also completely ignore the slave raids of muslims slaver catchers into Iceland and Europe.

The British Empire fought like the dickens to gain for itself that Asiento.

They WANTED to be the slave trading monopoly. They succeeded in 1713.

Here is Britain several hundred years later, receiving it good and hard.

That said, you are correct it is strange that both Spain and Portugal, as well as do not forget France and the Netherlands. All have stained hands.

It is very nice to see the U.S. not be blamed first for a change though. We did not exist until 1776.
