It's no longer a problem.
What we need to know and analyze is how we allowed China to assume manufacturing power over the U.S.
Can we regain our manufacturing power in the future, or is all lost?

“Can we regain our manufacturing power in the future”

Trump/Musk are working hard at it.
Having said that, China has a population up to 4 times that of America and China produces 1.4 million engineers per year vs US 135,000 engineers.
And the Chinese Engineers are very good, makes China hard to beat.
We’ll see.

What we need to know and analyze is how we allowed China to assume manufacturing power over the U.S.

We gave it to them, and we allowed them to steal it.

The bad assumption was if they became prosperous, they would become a liberal democracy. It was a false assumption about the nature of reality.
