The dove did not bring back a “tree”, but a leaf. As I said, an olive tree seed can germinate, grow big enough to produce a leaf in 47 days. Also, the flood was not just oceans/salt water, Genesis 7:11 says there were fountains of the great deep and windows of heaven opened. There would have been an enormous amount of fresh water too.
But yes, all that takes faith to believe the Bible is God’s word and is true. Science supports the existence of an intelligent designer and the historical accounts written in the Bible, and archaeologists are finding more and more evidence.
Believing we are all here “by accident” takes faith too. From my perspective it takes more faith to believe that, than to believe in God.
