Wokism is what comes from taking the equality thesis seriously, given a background of Christian morality. If you assume that all human populations have literally the same distribution of innate ability, it follows that all group differences in outcome must be the result of environmental factors. Suppose you truly believe that African Americans and Chinese Americans would on average be equally good at math and equally likely to run afoul of the law if only they were treated the same. With the right intervention, Nigeria could become like Korea, and our inner cities could be transformed into Silicon Valleys—or at least Koreatowns. The persistence of race differences in income, IQ, education, health, crime rates, etc., almost all disfavoring blacks, triggers an increasingly hysterical effort to find and correct the environmental cause...

Both the mainstream left and right accept the empirical premise upon which wokism is based, namely, the equality thesis. Smart people are more likely to correctly determine that, given equality, wokism follows. Mainstream rightists, in contrast, supposedly believe in equality, but they fail to recognize its implications...

Mainstream conservatives are unable to effectively push back against wokism because they accept the premises—both empirical and moral—that entail it. If it were true that the races were on average psychologically equal, the best explanation for disparities would be the continued existence, or the legacy, of white racism. For this reason, intelligent people tend to choose wokism over mainstream conservatism...

There is no way to argue effectively against those who call for drastic measures to equalize group outcomes unless you can say that those outcomes reflect natural differences. Within every institution, the ratchet goes one way: toward more wokism.

Right there I think he has a problem by choosing a particular definition of Chistian morality. Classical Christianity requires applying the basic principle of the sovereignty of God and free will of man to all of scripture. In His sovereignty, God created all alike but with unique abilities, endowed them with limitless value, and equal opportunities. Then man exercising the free will granted by God breaks all of Creation including himself. People need to proceed according to the original vision and do the best they can.

As one example we made a good start by saying, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

After 250 years, to what extent does the country reflect that principle now? Based on how we tend to behave, everything should go woke.

I didn’t read it word for word as it was long, and I was not convinced that he was right. To his credit, he’s a smart guy who has done a lot of homework.

I think conservatives should hit Democrats hard as the racist party. We can start with slavery. The Democrat party was pro-slavery from the time of Jefferson to Jefferson Davis. Democrats, north, south, east and west were pro-slavery. Democrats kept blacks down with slavery, Jim Crow laws, segregation, family-busting welfare, abortion, lack of school choice, and unsafe neighborhoods.

As slave owners, Democrats said they had to take care of inferior people. Slavery is gone, but the mindset continues. My message to black people is that the people who promise to take care of you (slave-holding Democrats), take care of themselves first.

The quality of a group’s culture is determined by the groups AVERAGE IQ.

IQ is upstream of culture.

Think about what the essence of “culture” is and the reason it is tightly linked to IQ will become obvious.

While education and training can raise an individual's intelligence, given the same education and training, you'll still get vastly different outcomes among individuals because of innate genetic differences.

I assume that you, like the Left, believe that all humans, as individuals and as groups, are “equal” in terms of mental abilities. Unfortunately for you and your comrades on the Left, there simply isn’t any evidence to support such claims, and vast amounts of data based on intelligence testing, academic performance, and heritability studies to the contrary. But by all means, go ahead and bury your head in the sand if it makes you feel better.

In other words, mainstream conservatives are losing to the left because they hold an inconsistent worldview. They advocate policies that are implicitly predicated on the (politically incorrect) notion that people as individuals and as racial/ethnic groups are unequal, while accepting the leftist premise of "equality" except with regards to culture and environment.
