Interesting info and personally of interest because my German grand uncle and/or my grandfather went to Argentina around 1920 to 1923 from Danzig to investigate moving there. They both moved to the NYC area with their young families. I never heard why they chose the USA over Argentina.

Interesting. European immigrants-just like this country. So why aren’t they rich like us? No economists to encourage diversity? Institutions. Were they like ours? Probably not. Then there’s the willingness of a free people to put to use all their talents under just institutions. 56% of the people being foreign born in 1914? Sounds like they were missing the founding fathers we had when the constitution was written.
