Some people don't like that terrible statistic, but who can argue, in the face of what we have seen in the last ten years, that it isn't the truth or damn close to it?
The graphic is just to make the point-there were 9 females and 3 males on that jury, and while it is posslble the sole holdout was one of the males, that is far less likely.
And if it was a woman, there were at least eight other women who had commonsense and could think it through.
Women who take offense to those statistics you listed should not take offense at them lest they be mistaken for being part of those women, who by double the numbers of men, have issues with mental illness or some diagnosis or treatment of it.
We all, on this forum know a plethora of women who don't fall into that huge percentage. They shouldn't allow themselves to be tarred by the real numbers, just like men who don't engage in violent crime don't allow themselves to be tarred by the real overwhelming percentage of violent criminals who are male.

The holdout was one of the three males. The issue the jury had to decide was not whether she killed the three kids— she did. The issue on which he disagreed with the other eleven jurors was whether THE STATE PROVED (they had the burden) beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant WAS NOT IN A STATE OF PSYCHOSIS AT THE TIME IF THE KILLING.
I listened online to most of the trial and even the state’s medical experts said that it was possible that she WAS in such a psychotic state at that time of the killing. Once I heard them admit that and considering all the other medical evidence admitted I was sure they had lost the case and she would be found “not guilty” because of her medical condition. Based upon the note that the jury sent out it appeared that while the holdout juror had doubts that the state had met its burden on toe psychosis issue he could not “vote” anything but guilty because she had actually killed the children.
