I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on societal devolution and I must confess as someone who invested over 30 years as a Marine serving this country I have major concerns about the state of affairs. Regardless, the time I invested in service to this country was with the hope of preserving a future for this country and my grandchildren. I have one grandson now who just started his freshman year at Temple University. I believe my daughter and son-in-law have raised him right, but the college environment today is scary. I have read about parents that have sent their child to college and say they don’t know him or her upon their return. I’m hoping that the group he will be associating with, which is his rowing team at Temple, will be likeminded kids who are well grounded and a source of strength to keep him on the right path. As an octogenarian now, I am pretty much left to praying to the Lord for his well-being.

The biggest thing I have tried to do with all my kids is to stay in touch, and WELL BEFORE they left the nest, I have always and I continue to show them the cultural rot and depravity of the left.
