If that’s where we are in America today, that the jury was 11-1 for acquittal, then we’re done as a society and the Great Experiment is over. Throw in the towel, turn out the lights. Done.

I think it was 11-1 for not-guilty-by-reason-of-insanity, which isn’t exactly “not guilty”; it typically results in a long period of confinement in a facility for the criminally insane.
