You dismissed someone's argument by invoking an argument someone else made (without attribution, which is weird because you seem to be fixated on attributing quotes. Are you so narcissistic that you think I followed all of your replies to random people just incase you said something dumb enoigh to respond to?) as though it was the same argument. And then you did it again to me here: "Can you explain why you’re so important that government would care which grocery store you visit?", and again “Flock cameras are not some nefarious attempt to keep track of your visits to walmart.”. Those are strawman arguments.

People are making actual arguments based on events that have already transpired over the last decade, which you insist on referring to them ‘hypotheticals’.

When a ‘hypothetical’ happens in real life, it ceases to be a hypothetical.

Joe Biden was president, and nearly every federal government agency, and many state ones, were openly targeting Conservative, the FBI labeled parents and Catholics potential terrorist, Covid lock downs, climate ‘emergencies’, etc., etc...

If you really believe that no Leftist will ever gain political power in America again and whatever government retains power in that effective one-party state couldn't possibly ever turn full public surveillance against its citizenry on a whim, I could understand how you might support Flock style systems.

But considering that belief would take incredible mental impairment or a secret desire for that outcome, I can't.

Prove that has ceased to be a hypothetical. Can you provide one example of that? Where someone was who marked, tracked, and harassed by the local police using flock cameras after appearing before their city council?

I notice you cannot provide any reason why the government would want to track you? What would be the government’s motive in devoting those resources just to determine if you prefer Publix or Kroger. You are the epitome of narcistic paranoia.

The solution to the abuse of these cameras isn’t a ban, it is action against those who do the abuse.
