Hell if I know. It's not close to the same intimate place. They grew the class sizes by blowing off the mission that made the school unique: breadth in technical and social education with intimate relationships with professors. Biology and computer science added to engineering, math, and chemistry. They could have made it a truly unique program by admitting that a broad based undergrad education now takes five years.
I also tried to get them to consider mining the home-education market to help those parents plan their kids' education to be ready for such a task. Deaf ears. The social justice warriors had taken over admissions. It was stupid.
Several private (Christian/conservative-based) schools are “mining” the home-school and after-graduate on-line class market. Hillsdale probably is the one best know across the AM-radio talk shows.
